On a recent empowering initiative in Mayuge District, young mothers were equipped with valuable skills aimed at improving their livelihoods. Facilitated by Rebecca .N. Matsanga and supported by UDHA, the three days training covered a variety of hands-on activities that are both practical and beneficial to the community.<\/p>

Participants learned how to make liquid and bar soap, a skill that can provide an additional source of income or support personal household needs. They were also introduced to the art of smearing oil, a useful technique for both skincare and crafting traditional products. Additionally, the training included making sanitary wear, promoting hygiene, and ensuring better health practices among the women. Crafting was also a key component of the program, offering opportunities for creativity and the potential for entrepreneurial ventures.<\/p>
